This area should contain links to the numerous sites on the web that are
dedicated to chess. I'll only add sites that I find worthy to mention. I
already have a short list, but .... (I think you know already that this
site is under construction).
- GambitSoft Chess News
GambitSoft is selling chess software (and hardware). They have the most up-to-date news section on computer chess. Updated nearly daily. (german)
- Steve Pribut's Chess Page
Steve has collected lots of links related to chess and is my main starting point for exploring other chess pages.
- ChessWeb Chess University
Way cool. Lots of articles about chess. Opening theory, middlegame theory, endgame articles. Many people buy lots of books to get just this.
- FIDE
The official site of FIDE.
- Chessopolis
A very well sorted list of chess links.
- Chess on Yahoo
Yahoo carries a really large list of chess-sites.
- Bughouse Chess!
A great site on the fun chess rules called "Bughouse". It is known as "Tandem" in my german chess club. Bughouse.net also hosts the famous Bug Board where you can discuss on this type of chess.
- Deutscher Schachbund (german)
This is germany's main chess organization.
- SFLohmar (german)
This is a chess club in my area. They carry the latest local tournaments results and the current DWZ-List.
This link here is mainly for me personally as l check this page very often and have problems remembering complex URLs (hehe).
- ChessBase Schachneuigkeiten
A german page for the latest chess news. Made by the well informed ChessBase people.
